Brew Guide

What You’ll Need

 

Coffee

Grinder (or use pre-ground coffee)

Plunger

Filtered Water

Kettle

Timer

 

How much Coffee?

17g for 300ml

35g for 500ml

60g for 1000ml

80g for 1500ml

The amount of coffee to water varies depending on the type of coffee you are brewing and your preferred strength.

Step 1 | Grind

Grind the coffee to a course grind size – you’re looking for it to have the consistency of breadcrumbs.

Step 2 | Prep

Prep the Plunger by rising it with hot water.

Step 3 | Start

Add coffee
Add water
Give it a good stir using a wooden spoon
Place the plunger onto the brewer in the raised position. Don’t press just yet.
Start timer

Step 4 | Brew

Let it Brew for 4 min

Step 5 | Plunge

Firmly press all the way down.
Immediately pour coffee into a carafe to avoid over extraction.

Step 6 | Drink
